This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.
I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Some chit chat.
Over the past two weeks I’ve been sharing how my Sega was sprouting it’s new leaves.
This was three weeks ago.
Here it is one week later.
It has doubled in height!
And check it out now.
To give you an idea of how large this is, it now stands about a foot taller than me and I’m 5 feet 8 inches tall.
The leaves are still soft. They get quite sharp once they are completely grown in.
Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

My new books this week.
None! I couldn’t believe it when I checked. No new books this week. I blame it on my new job. Been too busy to shop. LOL

Holy cats, that thing is growing like some space horror weed haha!
Hope your reads are all good! 🙂
Yeah. Watch out for the pods! LOL
That’s fab how quick that plant came back to life. It’s thriving now. Enjoy your new books, Those That Remain looks nice and sinister!
It sure is thriving. Nothing really died back over the winter as it was a mild one.
I can’t believe how much your sega has grown! It’s amazing what a little sun and some water can do, yeah?
I hope work will slow down enough for you to get at least a few books 😉
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.
It is still growing too! Work is starting to settle down but I work more hours now. I need to find a new routine for my reading.
That is impressive growth! And also kinda freaky… I wonder how quickly nature would reclaim the planet if humans all left it? 🤔
I watched a series about that very thing. It didn’t take long at all!
I didn’t do any book buying this week either…in fact my book buying is way down this year which means I have it under control at last!
I have mine under more control right now. I blame it on my new job. No time for shopping. LOL
That sega looks freaking amazing and it’s taller than me! And enjoy your new reads!
Genesis @ Whispering Chapters
It grows so fast and I love that it is reaching for the sky more each year:)
The way the Sega is growing, and how big it is . . . aren’t you darn glad it’s not sentient?:-)
Thanks as always for the freebie links!
If it was. it would be telling me to quit pruning. LOL
I am pretty much in awe of that plant! It is huge and I can’t believe how quickly it has grown. We don’t have those kind of plants here in St. Louis 🙂 Wow, no new books! I came close to having the same situation this week but a couple showed up in my mail box at the end of the week. I hope you have a great week, Laura!
I have some pre orders due and some print books I ordered should be flooding my mailbox this week.
It’s amazing how fast your Sega sprouted up. It looks fabulous.
I enjoy watching it thrive:)
That plant sure is a growing! No new books, what happened…lol. 🙂
Have a great week and happy reading!
Stormi
I know. I went to look at my new books and had zilch. I’m sure they will start arriving this week. LOL
Oh wow that plant is huge Laura!! And you are atall girl! If we ever meet I will look like a dwarf LOL Sorry for the “no new books week”! I will enter a book ban next month because I went way overboard this month!!!
I was the tallest girl in my class. Used to feel awkward about it. Now I love it.
Your Sega is beautiful! I have never seen one that “blooms” like that each year. We have them here but they look the same year round.
As soon as the new leaves bloom. I cut the old ones off and that builds the trunk.
Great photos! Is your weather doing ok, not too hot and humid? We are nice here so far. Have a great week and enjoy some books!
Here is my Sunday Post
Not too hot or humid yet but getting there now that the nights are warm too.
You would want too many of those in your yard!
Have a great reading week
I plant them in certain places. Have a bunch right along one side of my house too. You don’t want them where you’ll brush against their sharp leaves.
Wow, that plant has really grown! 🙂 Thanks for the links to the free books, I’m going to check out a couple of them.
It grows right before my eyes!
Wow, those grew so fast! I am envious of your green thumb. I wish I shared it as well.
It’s the climate that makes them thrive. Tropical and moist.
That sega is HUGE!!!! I love seeing pics of it as it grows! Have a great week!
I was surprised by how much it grew. Everything is thriving and I need to show my banana trees soon.
That Sega is just sooo cool! I want one!
I have a bunch of them now!
That Sega is amazing! You must almost be able to see it moving as it grows… I hope you have a great week, Laura:)
You do see them grow. They stir like a slight wind is blowing!
Wow that Sega is really growing! Have a great week!
It’s grown more since this picture!
Your sega looks beautiful! It’s cool to see it’s progress.
Have a wonderful week ahead!
I love watching it grow!
Holy smokes! That is some growth on that sega! I’m really impressed.
You should see it now. Still growing!
Wow! Your Sego palm is amazing. I can’t believe how big it is! Hope you have a lovely week.
It’s even bigger now!
Oh my what a gorgeous Sega!! How blessed you are to have that in your yard. Happy Reading!! ❤️
I have a bunch of them. This is the largest.
