Synopsis

Eighteen-year-old Jenny Morton has a horrific secret: her touch spreads a deadly supernatural plague, the “Jenny pox.” She lives by a single rule: Never touch anyone. A lifetime of avoiding any physical contact with others has made her isolated and painfully lonely in her small rural town.

Then she meets the one boy she can touch. Jenny feels herself falling for Seth…but if she’s going to be with him, Jenny must learn to use the deadly pox inside her to confront his ruthless and manipulative girlfriend Ashleigh, who secretly wields the most dangerous power of all.

I added this book back in January of 2015. I can’t believe I haven’t read this yet. His other series, Ellie Jordan Ghost Trapper, is one of my favorites and I’m curious to see how I feel about this one.

  1. Beware Of The Reader says:

This blurb reminds me of the Shatter Me series trope Laura!

  2. I know you love some of his work already so I hope you love this too! I still have one of his books on my TBR to read.

  3. Tammy says:

I’ve seen this book around and I love the idea! Hope you get to read it😊

  4. Liliana says:

I read this book a loooong time ago but I remember really enjoying it! I love the premise of it! I unfortunately never continued with the series though… which is no surprise because I, in general, am terrible at finishing series. Lol.

  5. Carole says:

This sounds really interesting, Laura! I hope you enjoy it especially since you have had luck with his other books.

  6. kozbisa says:

I love those stories, where the person finds the person that “neutralizes” their power.

  7. i read another story where the girl’s touch was deadly. this sounds like a good one too
