This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.

I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Some chit chat.

This has been a wild week. The weather went from cold to hot, clear skies to stormy. At times, the winds reminded me of a tropical storm. One good thing about rainy days, they’re great for napping. LOL

There’s something weird going on with my computer. When I visit Goodreads, I can view the book I’m looking at but when I try to advance down the page to check out reviews, it just keeps buffering. And when I try to visit LinkedIn it just buffers. And worst of all, when I visit my Facebook page, it’s just a blank white page. I’m too tired and frustrated to worry about it right now and I hope it all resolves itself.

Other than that, it’s been a great week in reading and movies. Lot’s of scary stuff!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

I hope your computer gets better! That would be frustrating. Those Who Came Before has a cool cover!

  2. I hate computer problems. I’m getting the “Google Chrome is not responding” which literally hangs me up for 5 minutes so some computer scans, updates and clean up are now in my agenda for today. Sigh.

We have finally cooled down into the 60s and 70s and I love it. We get about one day a week with rain but not usually ALL day.

I hope you are getting some time to nap and read! Have a wonderful week, Laura!

I can’t seem to catch a break with compuer issues. Once this is all cleared up I hope it’s a long time til anything happens again!

  3. Ugh you are having more than your share of computer issues right now. What a pain! We don’t realise how much we rely on the internet now until we get issues with it. Hope you are sorted out soon.

  4. Beware Of The Reader says:

Laura didn’t you have your computer replaced or repaired some weeks/months ago? If I recall properly you ran into some problems…well I am crossing my fingers for you as this is so frustrating when it happens!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yep, this is a fairly new computer. I found out I have the white screen of death on Facebook and thinking, since all of my problems started at the same time, maybe that is the cause. Tried everything and now I’m just waiting to see if it fixes itself.

  5. Reboot and cross your fingers. 🙂 I hope it clears itself up too

  6. Liliana says:

Computer issues are so frustrating. And you’re totally like me! I’d rather leave the thing and hope it fixes itself! 😂 Which hopefully it will do.

I’ve actually been lacking in the horror-movie-watching department, which is so weird for me because it is my favorite movie genre and my favorite time of year! Have you seen anything worthy of a recommendation? Hopefully I’ll get some spooky things watched this coming week.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I did some searches and it looks like something I’ll have to wait out. Guess I’ll ignore it for now. LOL I’ve actually been watching some old favorites. Not much new to watch this year.

  7. yvonne473 says:

All those books look so good. My spooky October reads went off track because of my move. Oh well, maybe next year 🙂 Have a great week!

  8. kozbisa says:

That is an odd problem with your computer. Are there any updates you need to install? Maybe that would solve the problem, or it could be hardware related, which just stinks. Glad you got some naps and scary stuff in.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I just got the white screen of death on Facebook, and since then there are some things wrong with LinkedIn and Goodreads too. I’ve tried everything and now I’m just waiting it out, hoping Facebook fixes itself.

  9. I grabbed some of the same freebies and I got those two Flame Tree Books as well. I am ALMOST finished with Slash and you were right, it’s just the book I needed!

  10. Berls says:

ugh, I hate when my computer acts up. Thankfully my brother is usually able to fix it for me 🙂 I hope yours starts working soon!

    Have a great week 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

I had this guy who could fix anything. He’s moved away so now I try to sort things out myself. This is something that I can fix and it looks like I’ll have to wait until it sorts itself out. I’ve tried everything and did some searching. Found out it has to resolve itself. Could be days or a few weeks.

  11. Rachel @Waves of Fiction says:

Oh, I love napping on rainy days! They don’t happen too often here in Southern California, though. I hate computer problems! Hope you figure out how to fix it. 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

I love rainy days for napping too:) My computer problems turned out to be connected to the Facebook white screen of death. Nothing to do but wait for it to fix itself now.

  12. Stormi D Johnson says:

The weather this year everywhere has been crazy! We could get snow and I am so not ready! 🙁

Have a great week and happy reading!
