Some chit chat. Just a few more days until Christmas is here! I got my shopping done and now it’s all about those last few days of work before I can enjoy the holiday.

My son and I binged the last season of Game Of Thrones. Talk about intense! And the ending was something else too. I heard a lot of people didn’t like this last season but we sure did. We talked about each episode after watching it and had great fun.

Now, we’ve started watching The Witcher. I kept hearing how great it was, but the verdict isn’t in with us yet. It’s kind of confusing and we’ll see how we feel after another episode.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

I liked the ending of Game of Thrones too. It was unexpected, but everything about that show was unexpected if you ask me. LOL!.
I’ve heard a lot of mixed things about The Witcher. I’ll guess I have to see for myself too.
    Merry Christmas and Happy reading!

  2. I haven’t started watching The Witcher, because I absolutely want to read the books first! I’m pretty stubborn like that.
Have a Merry Christmas with your family, Laura.
    Happy reading.

  3. I loved season eight-it had laughs and tears, horrible deaths and big battles. Lots to enjoy! My dad and I were starting to wonder if we were the only ones who liked the endings! Now I just need to wait for the books!

  4. sjhigbee says:

I did like the ending of GoT and thought it worked – though Himself and I both felt that another scene with the Mother of Dragons before THAT scene would have been an improvement, but overall we agreed with the overall narrative arc.

  5. sjhigbee says:

I hope you and yours have a lovely Christmas and that Santa brings a nice pile of books down the chimney for you…

  6. I mean to watch tv and never do. At least my daughter knows all about Netflix and Amazon Prime. I’m not ready for Christmas but we did get the tree up last night. We are not in a rush on things this year.

I hope you have a merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season. Get some relaxation and reading into your schedule!

  16. i saw the teases for the witcher and it looks great, but i don’t have netflix. 🙁 wish some of these, like game of thrones, would come to cable. probably in the year 2040. LOL

  17. Carole says:

I keep hearing about The Witcher. I might have to give it a try. I watched GoT in the 6 months before the last season began. I wish a few things were different in the final season but I am okay with how things ended. I amazed by how mad some people have been about it though.
