Some chit chat.
All work and no play makes for a very tired Laura. LOL It’s been one of those weeks. I worked longer hours at both jobs and we were short on help. I didn’t even manage to finish reading one book! Couldn’t stay awake. But I have some good news. After this week I will be only working 5 days a week between both jobs. At least for the next two weeks. That will give me some time to clean, read and nap. And hopefully get some reviews written.
Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

I don’t know how you are coping with both jobs as it sounds exhausting to me! I’ve looked at Frozen World but I’m not big on post apocalypse scenarios. I like to be IN the apocalypse with characters as it happens. I’ll be interested in seeing what you think about this when you get to read it!
I do prefer to read ones where you get to start at the beginning of the apocalypse, but I wanted to try this author. Maybe the books that follow will fill in the beginning.
I hope things calm down at work, so you can get some rest, and enjoy those two days off.
Thanks. I’m hoping the weather cooperates so I can spend some time working in the yard. I love doing that!
Laura when I read this I realize how lucky I am with working four days a week! Granted I am paid less as I work part time but still. I hope you’ll recover soon and will have time to read and sleep. Lots of hugs and energy going your way!
I’m hoping to be down to one job soon. I missed out on a lot last summer and I want to enjoy this one:)
I hope that you enjoy your lighter couple of weeks! It is definitely sounding like you need some time for yourself! Enjoy your new books. 🙂
Thanks. I plan to get in some reading and get to those chores t need to do:)
Being overworked is no fun, I hope you enjoy your days off this week, Laura😁
I’m trying to plan when I will be able to just have the one job. Shouldn’t be long now.
My mother-in-law has a Doodle and he looks just like the one on this cover!!
My neighbor has two and I love to watch them play:)
I’m sorry about all those work hours. I’m glad to hear things will be lightening up a bit. Hope this is a good week for you.
I’m so looking forward to a little time for myself!
I am SO happy you will be getting a few more normal weeks. It is really hard to work long days AND more than 5 days of it. I did that with my own business for years which was ok because I chose it and I was so young and energetic. But it took its toll in not having any other outlets or people etc. There’s something to be said for work-life balance.
Have a great week and enjoy some books!
Anne – Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
Yes, I need to find that balance!
Yay for a better work-life balance coming ahead! I know you have to be excited – it’s so hard to keep going when you are so exhausted. Have a great week!
I can’t wait for some normal work weeks. LOL
I don’t know how you do it, Laura. You definitely deserve a break. I hope you enjoy your time to yourself. Have a great week!
Sometimes I don’t know how I do it. LOL
Wow, that wears me out just listened to all that working you are doing! Glad you are getting some days off soon to relax!
I am planning to have more time for relaxing this spring and summer. I’m getting too old for this crazy work schedule. LOL
Glad your hours are gonna moderate a bit. Too much work is no fun haha!
Frozen World looks like a good one. Dawn of the New Breed looks like a trip too.
I keep telling myself, if you wait, it will come. LOL I plan to dive into some of these good books when it does!
Yay for cutting down on working days! Hopefully you can rest up and get some stuff done. 7 days a week is just too much. Have a great week!
I plan on getting it down to 5 days as soon as possible. Life is passing me by!
I get so grumpy when I can’t read! I hope you gets lots of napping and reading done the next two weeks!
I get grumpy too! LOL
Get some rest. I know how tough two jobs can be. Hope you have a great week.
Thanks, Anthony. I’m so behind on everything!
Sounds like you need it. I am struggling to balance blogging with just one job, I don’t know how you are keeping up!
I’m falling behind on my reviews. I want to write them and have fun doing it, not feel stressed because they are piling up:)
I hope you are able to get some rest these two weeks!
Thanks, Jen. Me too!
Having time to read every day is important! I’m usually too tired to read before bed. It means I’ve had a long, long day.
I’m struggling to stay awake to read. It’s frustrating.
enjoy your break, such as it is. 🙂
