Some chit chat.

I haven’t got to bed before 3 A. M. all week. Mind you, I’m a night owl by nature, but I also wake up around daylight whether I want to or not. That’s not enough sleep. My reading time is taking a hit. I think it’s time for a little staycation. Now to see if I can get any time off of work.

I have some exciting reviews and giveaways to share. And some free books! Check it all below.

Looking forward to chatting with you and have a great new week!

Wishing you a great reading week

Yes… I’ve had to take my dire sleep hygiene a lot more seriously since suffering with chronic fatigue as part of my long covid. Have you tried winding down time before going to bed? You can still read in bed – but you give yourself at least half an hour without any electronics before bedtime – and it does make a difference. I hope you get a bit of a break soon, Laura.

  4. Northwoman says:

I love to stay up and read but the next day I take a hit. Although once I miss the normal bedtime, sometimes I am overly wound up from the book and have trouble sleeping then.

  5. Yeah that is not enough sleep at all! The older I get, the less able I am to take the lack of sleep. I just don’t function well.

  6. Greg says:

I’m a night owl too and it’s tough when you stay u late and then have to get up.

Looks like a lot of good books this week! Are you staying up reading, or just not being able to get to sleep? I hope you get some sleep this week or are able to get some time off so you can try to get caught up!
