Those words are hiding in the rain

even vanishing, the memories remain

those words are hiding in the light

even vanishing, I hope you are all right

  1. Jeanna Massman says:

Poetry is a very powerful tool when used to express and explore feelings and emotions.

    • INTENSIA says:

Totally agree, Jeanna 🙂 And if set to music, which will happen one excerpt at a time, words become even stronger and more memorable. I’m really looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the book and already wishing you a beautiful read in case you decide to go for it 🙂

  2. Thank you for featuring WORDS TO THINK. OR TO SING.

  3. I would love to hear Intensia sing. Is there any audio where I can? I looked on YouTube, but I wasn’t quite sure which link was her.

    • INTENSIA says:

Ooooh thank you so much, Audrey. This means a lot to me, as my main craft is being a songwriter, singer, and ambassador of tuneful emotions.

At the moment, there are only words and little insights about their meanings in this book. But soon there will be music to stream and experience between these lines, as every excerpt carries a secret melody for now.

The book has been published through my own infrastructure and music label, Intensia Music International, which is also dedicated to encouraging others to discover and nurture their creative side.

This collection of lyric excerpts was made so that the songs could linger a little longer, inspiring reflection, connection, and a deeper experience for everyone along the journey. You can even join me through the process of finishing them, which feels pretty rare in the music industry. Most artists mainly share finished results or maybe some throwbacks and behind the scenes once everything is complete and available to stream.

I wanted to celebrate the process and unite through progress because to me that is an occasion to truly share something unique, unexpected, and really human. Let’s celebrate more of the journey and all the emotions that come with it. To me, art is not only about polished results. It is something we can experience together at every stage.

The first song coming from this work is planned for the beginning of next year. I hope you enjoy the read and become part of this special music unfolding adventure also through the free Intense Inside Club. You can easily sign up at my website to join. This is the place where I share further insights, messages, progress, and little surprises.

Oh and here is the link hub which will be constantly updated with streaming links, YouTube, and more. You can save it if you like: www . intensia . music / links

Get ready to sing your favorite lines at the top of our lungs together one day 🙂

  4. marcymeyer says:

Sounds like a good book of poetry.

    • INTENSIA says:

I’m so glad it resonates with you, Marcy 🙂 What makes this collection unique is that while it looks like modern poetry, the words carry melodies and you might already sense a rhythm as you read, because these are excerpts from real pop songs I’m working on. So for now, they are poetic glimpses, and full songs will come later.

And if you read the book, you’ll have the advantage of already knowing some of the lyrics when the music is released, so you can sing along right away 🙂

I would love to hear which lines resonate most with you, and maybe one day we can even sing something together 🙂 I hope you enjoy emotional, cinematic, and relatable pop music.

  5. Barbara Montag says:

I enjoyed reading this well done excerpt!
    Thank you for sharing it.

Thank you so much, Barbara, this really means a lot to me 🙂

I wish you a wonderful read and would love to hear your thoughts about the book and the pop songs that will arise from it 🙂

It would be amazing to have you along for this special music unfolding adventure 🙂

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you so so much, Nancy! I hope the multifaceted nature of this work will shine through. The book is only the beginning 🙂

The journey together and everything around the music yet to come are also part of the experience.

I look forward to hearing which excerpt you would like to hear set to melody first 🙂

  7. Anne says:

    Captivating and wonderful.

    • INTENSIA says:

Thanks a lot, Anne 🙂 Wishing you a pleasant read.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts about the book and to sharing the music journey with you 🙂

  8. Rita Wray says:

    Sounds great.

    • INTENSIA says:

      Thank you, Rita!

I would love to hear your thoughts if you decide to give it a go. Enjoy the read 🙂

And since the excerpts come from real pop songs I’m working on, it will definitely sound 🙂

  9. Sounds like a interesting book.

    • INTENSIA says:

      Thank you, Sherry!

I wanted to give these poetic verses from my songs in progress the chance to spark reflection and creativity and to linger a little longer than they often do in today’s fast-paced music world.

But above all, for us to find each other and connect. Wishing you a great read, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you 🙂

  10. PIroska says:

The book sounds very interesting. I love poetry.

    • INTENSIA says:

      Thanks a lot PIroska 🙂

This is that kind of accessible, relatable, emotional modern poetry like work that might hit different because one day, these verses are going to be part of real, complete pop songs of mine.

I hope you will enjoy the multifaceted nature of this book and that you will stay also for the shared journey and the songs 🙂 United in intensity 🙂

  11. Mary Preston says:

How did you get past the copyright?

    • INTENSIA says:

      I didn’t have to, Mary 🙂

Because these excerpts are from my own original pop songs in progress. So the only people I needed to ask were just me, myself, and I 🙂

I wanted to offer a glimpse into my mind and soul before the music even exists, to connect on a deeper level, sharing the journey with kindred souls and curious minds who resonate with it.

I hope I can count you in 🙂

  12. dglitter1922 says:

Such a lovely poem! Thanks for the giveaway!

    • INTENSIA says:

So glad you enjoyed this lyric excerpt, dglitter1922!

Let me share a little secret with you about VANISH. The two parts showcased above in this glimpse are actually the chorus and the bridge leading into the outro of the song. 🙂

The accompanying insight, “Light and rain never happen in vain,” reflects the deeper theme behind the lines. This piece is about processing fading written promises and the emotional weather we move through while letting go. Sunshine stands for the moments of relief, while rain reflects the tears. Both slowly consume the paper, and with that, time helps us find peace again. The seasons we pass through, inside and out, might not always make sense in the moment, but they’re always meaningful.

Wishing you a wonderful read. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the rest too. Can you imagine singing those lines with me one day? 🙂

  13. David Hollingsworth says:

Have any of your books won awards?

    • INTENSIA says:

Since this is truly my very first publication and it is brand new, for now there are some strong editorial recommendations such as

      Readers’ Favorite, which called it
“one of the most unique forms of artistic expression seen in a book.”
You can read the full review here: https://readersfavorite.com/book-review/words-to-think-or-to-sing

      Literary Titan said,
“Artists, songwriters, or anyone who finds inspiration in broken lines and passing moods will find gold in here.”
Their full review is here: https://literarytitan.com/2025/07/17/words-to-think-or-to-sing/

But besides that, the book is actually also nominated for two awards, the Literary Titan Award and the Eric Hoffer Award in the Art category.

I hope you will give it a go and stay for the journey, together with the songs. It would be wonderful to have you along, David 🙂

  14. Debbi Wellenstein says:

    The cover is very nice.

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you so much, Debbi 🙂

I wanted the cover to feel modern, minimalistic, dynamic, and clear about the topic all at once. That’s why I chose a neat white background with scattered colored music notes. To me, they symbolize both the work-in-progress nature of the book and the many different moods and topics it touches, as well as the melodies and beautiful people it might one day unite into a community of kindred spirits and curious minds.

I even have a name for the members already: the Intenswes! Short for Intens(ia), plus we, plus s for the plural 🙂

Since this wonderful digital book tour is coming to an end, I’d love to invite you to join the free intense Inside club on my website. That’s the space where we stay in touch, share further insights, little surprises, and keep the journey going.

      See you there 🙂

  15. Hope the book does well!

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you so much, Sportsrockman 🙂

Do you know that feeling when a room full of perfect strangers suddenly feels connected because a certain song starts playing, and sometimes they even sing along together by heart?

That’s exactly what I love so much about music, and it is also the vision I had for this book.

I hope you’ll be part of it. It would be amazing to have you along for this special artistic unfolding adventure 🙂

  16. lisasvance says:

    Sounds like a great read.

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you so much, lisasvance, that really means a lot to me.

Wishing you a beautiful read, and I’d be thrilled to hear which excerpts resonate with you most 🙂

Since there will be music between these lines, one excerpt at a time, I hope you’re also into emotional, poetic, cinematic, and relatable pop songs.

Would be wonderful to stay connected if you’re curious to follow along 🙂

  17. paige chandler says:

    Great cover and cool book

    • INTENSIA says:

Thanks so so much, Paige! I’m really glad it resonates with you 🙂

I wanted the whole concept to feel compact and modern, yet emotional, dynamic, and clearly music-oriented, with a cover and title that say it all.

Right now it’s “Words to Think.”, just verses and little insights behind the lyric excerpts. But once the full pop songs are finalized and available to stream, it will be also “Or to Sing.”.

If you enjoy heartfelt, relatable, cinematic pop, I hope this project will speak to you. I’ve poured all my heart and soul into this book to connect on a deeper level, to let these words linger a little longer, to spark reflection, to inspire, and to share more of the journey while it’s still unfolding. That’s apparently something quite rare in the entertainment world, where musicians mostly show only finished things or occasionally some behind the scenes every now and then.

I’d love to have you along for all of it. And maybe one day we’ll even sing some of your favorite lines together 🙂

  18. Do you have a certain writing schedule?

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you so much, Barbara, for this thoughtful question 🙂

To be honest, I don’t have a strict writing schedule. Of course I could set one, but I prefer to go through life with an open heart and a curious mind, trusting that I can turn everything I feel into words or music whenever I like.

When something stays longer on my mind, I often begin to play with words about it, and from there it sometimes becomes a tuneful song concept like the ones I’m sharing in this book.

Whether I start with words, melodic fragments or just a message idea, the impulses always come from emotion, simply because we are capable of perceiving.

If anything, I think it’s really important to regularly take a few moments to breathe, slow down, reflect, practice mindfulness and regenerate the senses. This work is also meant for that. It is not full of things, it contains only what is truly necessary to express something meaningful. It leaves space for your own thoughts too.

And it might even inspire you to join a music artist in the making.

I would love to have you along for this creative unfolding adventure 🙂

  19. David Hollingsworth says:

What was your dream job growing up?

    • INTENSIA says:

      Good question, thanks David 🙂

I had some short phases where I wanted to be an archeologist, another when I thought about becoming a pet nurse or a chef for delicious plant-based cooking, but that was pretty much it.

Then one day I was gifted a blue radio cassette recorder, and it totally blew my mind. From that moment, I knew music and art would be my path, the way I could share something meaningful that feels natural to me. And here we are now.

      What about you? 🙂

  20. lisasvance says:

Besides writing, do you have any hobbies?

    • INTENSIA says:

When I have some time, I like walking through nature and watching its creatures. Even though Munich is a big city, there are many parks and green spaces in and around it. In the one closest to where I live, I recently had a real highlight. I saw a beaver mom with her little one, both snacking on some tender green wood across the river. It was so lovely.

It might sound silly, but another day I even saw a young fox and it made me so happy. I had never seen one before.

Besides that, I enjoy cooking tasty but healthy plant-based meals, and once in a while I honor the silence while meditating.

      And you? 🙂

  21. allibrarycefdb51301 says:

This book would make a unique gift for friend or family.

    Nancy
    allibrary (at) aol (dot) com

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you so much, Nancy, for your kind words 🙂

I often say that songs are like sonorous gifts, full of message and intention, so it truly makes me happy to think this book might inspire, connect, or spark creativity somewhere, someday. As a present too.

There is also a blank A4 notebook called “Place to Think. Or to Write.” that I created for even more space to express oneself. Plus a little collection of merchandise inspired by the book’s colorful, dynamic cover and my saying, which is also printed on the back of the book: “A story to sing is when the words start to fly.” I poured my heart into every detail, and if you decide to take a look, I’d be thrilled to hear what you think.

Thanks again for this, it really means a lot to me 🙂

  22. Debbi Wellenstein says:

I hope your Thursday is wonderful.

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you, Debbi. I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the excerpt 🙂

Looking forward to your thoughts if you read the book 🙂

  23. wendy hutton says:

    sounds wonderful

    • INTENSIA says:

Thanks so much, Wendy! I would love to hear your thoughts about it one day, and have you join me on this creative art unfolding adventure 🙂

Even once the book is read, there’s still so much to discover and sing together 🙂

  24. Cynthia Conley says:

    Sounds very interesting.

  25. INTENSIA says:

    Dear FUONLYKNEW,

Thank you so much for having me and for featuring Words to Think. Or to Sing. I’m super excited to be here with you.

If you would like to explore the book a bit further before reading, it has received strong recommendations from two professional editorial book review portals:

    Readers’ Favorite:
“One of the most unique forms of artistic expression seen in a book.”
    https://readersfavorite.com/book-review/words-to-think-or-to-sing

    Literary Titan:
“Artists, songwriters, or anyone who finds inspiration in broken lines and passing moods will find gold in here.”
    https://literarytitan.com/2025/07/17/words-to-think-or-to-sing/

Thanks also for your excerpt choice, VANISH, which is about fading written promises and the tempests within that we have to go through to truly let go. Sunshine and rain literally consume the paper, keeping those words present just a little longer. The sunshine stands for the tiny moments of relief, and the rain for the tears we shed while trying to move on.

To great conversations and meaningful connections 🙂

  26. David Hollingsworth says:

I like the premise of the book.

    • INTENSIA says:

      Thanks so much, David!

I would be thrilled if you read it, and even more if you stayed for the songs 🙂

I hope you enjoy emotional, relatable, cinematic pop.

  27. Ann Fantom says:

This sounds like an interesting book and I also like the cover.

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you so much, Ann, this really means a lot to me 🙂

I wish you a good read already and would love to hear your thoughts about it. I’m also so glad that the modern, compact, and dynamic cover resonates with you. I wanted it to feel light and easy, yet clear about the topic 🙂

  28. Barbara Montag says:

What part of the book did you have the hardest time writing?

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you for asking, Barbara 🙂 I think the most challenging part of finishing the book was deciding which parts of the songs could stand alone as poetic glimpses, and how to express a hint of their meaning in a very compact way.

For instance, the excerpt presented here “VANISH” is about the interplay between light (the moments of relief) and rain (the tears and inner storm we sometimes have to face in order to feel better again), especially when written promises start to fade and are no longer real. The insight goes like this: “Light and rain never happen in vain.” Because even if something is painful, there might still be something to learn, something positive to look back on, or simply the strength we gained by going through it.

I hope you’ll enjoy the rest of the book and the songs arising from it too.

Can you imagine all these words carrying secret melodies? 🙂

  29. susan12151962 says:

This sounds like a great book. I like the cover.

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you so much, Susan! I’m really glad you like the book and its modern, minimalistic but dynamic cover 🙂

I wish you a wonderful read and would love to hear which lines resonate with you the most. And maybe one day, we can sing your favorite lines together at the top of our lungs.

Even after the book is finished, there’s still so much to discover and experience together 🙂

  30. Debbi Wellenstein says:

Thank you again for the giveaway!

  31. lisasvance says:

    What is your favorite snack?

    • INTENSIA says:

      Thanks for asking, Lisa 🙂

When it has to be quick, I often enjoy light, ready-to-eat red lentil waffles with some carrots or a piece of fruit. If I have a sweet craving, I usually grab hemp-date-almond protein bars or power balls made from nuts or fruits. Hazelnut, carob, dates, apricots, mango, coconut, and cherries are some of my favorites.

If I have a bit more time to prepare something, I like chia seed pudding or quinoa pancakes. Both are very easy to make. For a serving of chia pudding, you just need a few tablespoons of chia seeds, a cup of plant-based milk like coconut or almond, and a container to let it sit overnight. It lasts about a week in the fridge.

For quinoa pancakes, I use washed quinoa, a bit of psyllium husk, water, salt, and some oil if you like. After soaking, you cook them in a pan until golden. They work well savory or with fruit and can be easily frozen.

What are your favorite snacks? 🙂

  32. Barbara Montag says:

Where do you get your ideas for writing?

    • INTENSIA says:

      Thanks for asking, Barbara 🙂

I find inspiration by going through life with an open heart and mind. Feeling, experiencing, and observing. If something lingers in my mind longer than usual, whether it’s positive or not, it might one day become a song 🙂

  33. Michelle Domangue says:

This is a great sounding book!

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you so much, Michelle! I’m really glad you like it. I hope you enjoy the read and if you feel like it, I’d love to hear which lines resonate with you most 🙂

I would also be thrilled to have you along on the music developing journey and the songs that come from these excerpts. I hope you enjoy heartfelt, poetic, cinematic pop 🙂

  34. wendy hutton says:

    best wishes with the book

    • INTENSIA says:

Thanks a lot, Wendy! 🙂 I hope you enjoy the songs arising from it too. Even after the book is read, there’s still so much to experience and discover together.

You’re warmly invited to join me on this special music unfolding adventure. United in intensity 🙂

  35. David Hollingsworth says:

How do you compress after a long day?

    • INTENSIA says:

      Thanks for asking, David 🙂

Sometimes, I like to just lie down in a cozy posture with the light shut down and listen to some relaxing solfeggio frequencies. There are a lot of great ones for such purposes and even more. If I have a little more time for that, a walk in the green is also very satisfying. The same with vacuuming the floor. I don’t know why, but I really enjoy doing it. It is satisfying to see the crumbs disappear, as long as the gear is cordless 🙂 It is also one less task on the chores list!

What are your favorite things to do after a busy day? 🙂

  36. mcushing7 says:

I love the sound of this one so much and it sounds super intriguing and I can’t wait to read it!

    • INTENSIA says:

Thank you so so much for your kind words, Mcushing7! They really mean a lot to me 🙂

I can’t wait to hear which lines resonate with you most so we can sing them together one day. Even when the book is read, there is still so much to discover and experience 🙂

You are warmly invited to this special music unfolding journey. I hope you enjoy heartfelt, cinematic pop songs.

  37. INTENSIA says:
