I’m so excited. I’ve been waiting to get my hands on Charmeine. I’m going to try to be one of the first ones to grab it!
Read This!
Can romance develop between a heavenly Light-Bearer and a hellish vampire Blood-Hunter?
Tabbruis is a Blood-Hunter, he drinks blood to survive. Over millennia Tabbruis has wandered the Earth alone aimlessly living through many historical events.
Charmeine just came to the Earth in 1997. Little did she know her destiny was to be Queen of all the Light-Bearers?
When Tabbruis meets Charmeine the attraction is immediate and passionate. They are polar opposites and clash together in a strongly romantic and dramatic way. When she meets Tabbruis, Charmeine’s powers as a Light-Bearer, one who throws lightning, is triggered and grows exponentially.
Charmeine and Tabbruis soon find out they were made by God for each other; however, on the day God cast Lucifer out of Heaven, they were split up by some mistake. Charmeine sacrificed herself to save her Tabbruis but they were sent to Earth as total opposites and in different times. Tabbruis never remembered Heaven, Charmeine or their child. Until he met Charmeine, he did not know he was the King of Darkness and destined to be her Husband on Earth as he was in Heaven.
Once Tabbruis and Charmeine proclaim their love for one another, they have to battle their way to freedom from the evil forces on Earth.
Check out this trailer for Charmeine – Book One in the Light-Bearer Series.

About the author
Emily Guido is a very New Paranormal Romance Author. She was inspired to start writing “The Light-Bearer Series” because one day she got an idea of two characters of light and dark who needed to have their epic romance story told. Not ever dreaming a week later she would have over a 100,000 words written. When Emily writes, it is similar to you or I watching a movie. She pictures the characters in her head going through vivid descriptions of each scene. There are so many nuances going through her mind that she cannot type fast enough. She has written five novels, “Charmeine” “Mactus” “Accendo” “Seditious” and “Ransom” The sixth novel in “The Light-Bearer Series.” is entitled “Conundrum” and will be released early 2013.

Want a sneak peek of Return to Darkness (Book Two)? Here you go!
Prologue for Return to Darkness
It was all happening again. It was like a horrible nightmare. I had replayed that first time in my head so many times. The only difference this time was that I was alone. But, I had gotten stronger and faster. At least, that’s what I kept telling myself. I had learned how to fight and attack better, so that would make a difference. Won’t it? I thought to myself. I can do this. I wanted this, after all. Now, if I could just keep myself from getting killed. But he was much stronger and older than I was. I guess I really hadn’t thought this through as much as I should have. And now wasn’t the time to start thinking about it. Now was the time to act. The only thing going in my favor was that I was on my own turf, and I was the one who found him. “Hello, Bird,” he said with an evil smile. I wanted to slap that smile right off his face. This wasn’t the time for a chat, but I couldn’t help myself. “How many times do I have to tell you never to call me that, you stupid git?” I could tell that he was going to say something, so with the vision of Finn’s beautiful face implanted in my mind, I attacked.
I can’t wait to read this. Now, Nicole says the book is not nearly finished. We can hope for a spring 2013 release, but that is not set in stone!

Tiger Paw First Round Winners!
Posted: August 22, 2012 in Book Promos, Contests, crime thriller, fiction, giveaways, Mytery/Thriller, UncategorizedTags: Bangladesh, Big cat, Charles A. Cornell, giveaway, India, Tiger Paw, winners
As part of the giveaway for Tiger Paw by Charles A. Cornell, the author decided to do a contest within the giveaway for more chances to win.
Charles offered three more e-books to the three people to first answer this riddle:
What is one thing tigers CAN’T do that other big cats can do?
Here were the clues:
1) Tigers can do this when they are little, but as they get older they get too heavy!
2) They can do this in one direction but have trouble in the other!
3) In cases of danger, like flooding, they will do this to save themselves, but normally they are reluctant to do it.
The answer is….climb trees!
Tigers will climb trees up to the age of sixteen months but after this age, they’re too heavy for the branches! In the monsoon season in India and Bangladesh, they will climb a tree to escape flooding, but as the video below shows, they can get up the tree but have difficulty getting down. They can’t figure out that they need to descend backwards!

We have a winner!
Charles asked this question: What is something tigers can’t do that other big cats can do?
Janna replied: Tigers can’t purr while inhaling. They don’t purr, they chuff. Also, tigers can eat putrified meat and other big cats can’t.
Congratulations JANNA! You are our first winner.
I have emailed Charles with your contact information.
But Wait!
Since Charles did not know this about tigers and Janna’s answer was a great surprise, Charles is offering another book.
