Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page.
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser for today is from Dead of Eve by Pam Godwin
His expression shuttered, fingers digging into his jean-clad thighs. He stared at me for a long time, carving away my anger. But I glared right back, willing him to understand. Then something changed. The air between us shifted, sizzled, charged.
He rose from the couch, stepped toe-to-toe with me, looking suspicious and gorgeous, smiling down at me.
Dead of Eve is the first chapter in a trilogy. Intense and engaging. I’m tearing through this one and excited to know there will be more!

Ohh, looking suspicious and gorgeous? Love that! 😀
Here’s my Teaser Tuesdays post this week, from The Redhead Revealed by Alice Clayton. 😉
I hear ya!
On my way over now!
I’m reading: Dearly, Departed: A Zombie Novel by Lia Habel
Jack sat calmly beside me as I heaved, his bloody eye sockets and the gaping wound in his throat mocking me, mocking my attempt to rescue him.
The monsters. Mad, animalistic, discolored, broken and battered from throwing themselves after their prey, each one thrashing like a person trapped beneath a frozen pond might struggle against the ice in desperate search of air…all teeth and hunger…
Vivid and grotesque! Ha! Just what I like:)
I am tearing through Dead of Eve! Trying to catch my breath:)
Leave it to Pam to read a well written zombie novel. 🙂

Dead Of Eve, what a great book. Here’s my teaser.
The gunman prodded him with the muzzle.
Maybe Clint pushed this guy too far–gave him another reason to pull the trigger. “Where are you taking me?”
“The Stairs. Now.” The man flicked the silencer toward the stairs. “Move.”
From 3 Lies, by Helen Hanson
No wasted words and intimidating. I’ll check this out. A new author for me! Yeah!
Nice excerpt. The book cover looks like a horror movie poster.
It does, doesn’t it?! The story is violent and sexually explicit, but also tender, funny, and sad. I chose a more tame excerpt:)
Hot damn! I want to know what happened before and after. Great teaser!
