Some chit chat.

I’ve been feeling so lazy. The yard needs to be cleaned up. The house is a mess. I just can’t make myself do any of it. I’m going to blame it on new episodes of shows I’ve been watching. Some good movies. A bunch of good books. And laziness. LOL Oh and the pool! It’s been hot and a dip in the pool is a must at least once a day. That’s where I’m heading now!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

  1. Don’t Drink the Pink Potion was fun until it made me cry, but i kept it in check for my granddaughter. She loved it and didn’t quite understand. Enjoy!

  2. Greg says:

A dip in the pool sounds pretty good right about now! And good books and movies aren’t bad either- hope you’re having a good weekend. 🙂

Return to Dyatlov Pass looks freaky!

  3. I seem to have lost the urge to do anything since I came home but the housework waits for no one! Ugh!

  4. I know exactly what you mean. I’ve got a lot I need to get done (including writing reviews, I’m 5 books behind). I hope you have a great week.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m so behind in writing reviews. Monday is my day off from both jobs and I plan to buckle down and write some.

  5. A little laziness is deserved in the summer. Glad you’re enjoying the pool!

  6. Beware Of The Reader says:

Laura I think you deserve to be lazy! With all the work you’ve done for weeks now just relax and enjoy the pool!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Thanks. I have tomorrow off from both jobs. One appointment in the early morning but then it’s me time:)

  7. Stormi D Johnson says:

You need a little lazy time with all the working you do now. Enjoy it and read a good book or watch something cool!

Have a great week and happy reading!

  8. I grabbed The Seekers as well! I’m excited to give it a read! Enjoy the pool!

  9. Trust me, I’m lazier. I barely managed to make it in time and post my weekly recap, and you posted so much more than me (you are TRULY the better blogger).

    • fuonlyknew says:

I try to schedule ahead but I’m seriously behind in writing reviews. Got to work on that! Summer is so busy and my blog usually is quieter because of that.

  10. Gayathri Lakshminarayanan says:

Lazying around the pool seems like a perfect summer thing to do. I had that lazy bug last week and I hope to redeem myself this time around. I hope you have a great week ahead.

  11. Tammy says:

I was totally lazy yesterday, I had a lot of blogging to do, but I spent the whole day doing stuff with my kids, it was awesome😁 Now back to work, lol.

  12. Northwoman says:

I love the lazy days of summer and the pool, and reading in a hammock or by the pool. Enjoy! We all need that at times. Have a wonderful week!

    Here is my Sunday Post

  13. Sherry Fundin says:

hope you have a lazy day. you had some great freebies, but i limited myself to three. lol

  14. Tanya Atkinson says:

I can sympathize with the lazy days! It’s so hot here that it saps all my energy. Hitting the pool sounds like the perfect solution. 🙂 Hope you have a great week!

  15. *Flora* says:

I haven’t written a Sunday Post this week but thought I’d still visit some friendly bloggers 😉

C’mon Laura, we can’t be domestic Godesses ALL the time! 😉 I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reads. x

    Flora.
    @Flora’s Musings…

  16. I hope you enjoy all of your new books 🙂

  17. Being lazy sometimes is what is needed. I hope we get into our pool this year, the weather has just been too cool and rainy. The temp is barely in the 70s.

  18. I have my lazy days too where I don’t want to do anything. Hope you have a great week!

    Here’s my Sunday Post!

  19. I’m glad you’re having time to get in the pool! It’s always great for a hot weather. I hope you have a lovely week!

  20. kozbisa says:

The heat always kills my motivation to do anything. At this very moment, I am dreading walking outside to get the bus. It’s so humid and gross. ICK!

  21. You’re not alone! We all have the lazy days/weeks… Sometimes there’s other stuff you just want to do. House/yard work can wait. 🙂

  22. I get those kind of weeks. I managed to clean the kitchen and scrub the floor Sunday which I considered progress. Then I read and watched TV the rest of the day. There are too many shows on I watch right now – Big Little Lies, The Good Witch, Claws, NOS4A2, Fear the Walking Dead, Chi, Younger – can you see a problem here? Hope you have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I see the problem. LOL I do plan to at least sweep and mop floors. Other than that, it’s all about me time:)

  23. Rachel @Waves of Fiction says:

When it’s hot it’s hard to be motivated to do anything. Enjoy your swim and books! 🙂

  24. Enjoy the pool and the nice weather! We have yet to open ours – talk about lazy!! I love lazing out by it and reading but the getting it opened bit is a PAIN!

  25. S. J. Pajonas (spajonas) says:

I completely understand having a list of things to do and not wanting to do any of it. That’s where I am with the end of the school year for my kids right now. I just want to be on summer vacation already!
