Some chit chat.

Well, my son’s computer died. I knew it was coming. I’d even been shopping around for a new one. He’s using mine right now and really liking it so I ordered the newest version for him. It’ll be around Thursday before it gets here so you might notice I’m hit or miss on visiting and commenting this coming week. He’s quite the computer hog. LOL

I went crazy on the books again. I can’t help myself. LOL Just wait til you see what I got!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

I think my computer’s on the way out. It keeps freezing up and blue screening and other shenanigans- one of these days it’s just gonna crash I think.

Death Trap looks fun, and ooh Vampire on the Orient Express. Now THAT sounds fun haha!

    • fuonlyknew says:

My son had a black screen. We were able to fix it once but now it’s kaput. Vampire On The Orient Express has such a great title and cover, I couldn’t resist.

  2. Ahh! Those computer troubles are the worst! I hope that your son enjoys his new one when it arrives. It is so hard to share.

Marred looks like a book that I would really enjoy. It has a creepy thriller vibe to the cover. Enjoy your reads this week! 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

It isn’t so bad sharing as he uses it until I get home from work and after I go to bed. Except on my day off. LOL I love the eerie cover for Marred and the other books in the series!

  3. Some really interesting looking covers in your list this week! Vampire on the Orient Express sounds intriguing! Might need to check out a few on Goodreads…

  4. Stormi D Johnson says:

Man, you got some great books!!! Hope you enjoy them all!

Have a great week and happy reading!

  5. It must be the time for old computers to die. I had to get myself a new one too, since my old one ran out of memory…how does that even happen!!!

All those lovely covers, fantastic haul!

Have a great week, Laura! Happy Reading! xx

  6. Tammy says:

Ooh, lots of new horror titles! Looks like some fun reading ahead😁

  7. Hopefully the new computer lasts for a long time! I would hate having to share a computer. I’m on my all the time!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Both of our previous ones lasted a long time with no real problems so I stayed with the same brand:) I’m on mine a lot too:)

  8. sjhigbee says:

There are some things NOT designed to happily share – favourite puddings and computers… I hope your son’s new replacement soon turns up! I like the look of Uncanny – what an effective cover! I hope you have a good week, Laura:)

    • fuonlyknew says:

I work so much that it works out well. He uses the computer when I’m not home and I use it when I get back. Uncanny has a gorgeous cover. So it the one for your new book, Sarah!

  9. It’s awful when a computer stops working so I hope your son likes his new computer–and gives you back yours! That’s also awful–not having your computer when you want to use it…lol.

Hope you have a good week!

  10. asreadbytina says:

My computer has slowly been dying, the screen goes all different colors and I’m seriously praying it holds out until income tax lol. I’ve had it about 8-9 years so I’m sure it should be resting soon.

I hope you enjoy Hood Academy, I absolutely love the cover.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

My last computer held on for about 7 years and my sons was even older. That’s why I’m staying with the same brand again. Hood Academy came highly recommended so I’m excited to read it.

  11. Literary Feline says:

My computer is hanging on longer than I thought it would. I hope your son likes his new computer when it comes in. I know you will be glad to get yours back all to yourself. 🙂 Love the look of your new books! Hood Academy and Vampire on the Orient Express especially caught my attention, but they all look good. I hope you enjoy them.

Have a great week. Laura! Happy reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

He’s loving using mine and I’m glad I ordered the newer version for him. I’ve already read three books on this post while he uses my computer. LOL

  12. Beware Of The Reader says:

Aaah kids hijacking our tools LOL Well Laura you’ll have some free time computer-less to read all these books! Have a great week.

  13. kozbisa says:

Boo for computer deaths. I hope you can find something at a good price. But, yeah for lots of books.

  14. Rachel @Waves of Fiction says:

Oh, I feel lost without my computer! Glad your son is getting new one soon.

Vampire on the Orient Express sounds fun! 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m actually getting more done since I have more time on my hands. Writing reviews by hand to draft when I get the computer back full time! I had to grab that vampire book. Sounds and looks wicked fun.

  15. Liliana says:

You DID go crazy with the books! 😂 But a lot of them look really interesting! I hope you have fun reading them!

    Have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

There were so many great books. Some were gifted but I did spend some of my book budget. Couldn’t resist:)

  16. I grabbed some of the same books. Although I’ve not seen Cleaved before. It looks and sounds pretty good. It must be the week for computers – my work one died and now I’m using the desktop there which is driving me nuts!

    • fuonlyknew says:

A lot of great books around this week! I’ve heard a few other’s lost their computers too. Those gremlins are on the loose!

  17. i grabbed terror on the tundra. i see you have some of sue coletta’s books. i hope you enjoy them as much as i did. sorry to hear about cole’s computer. out office computer died so we are looking for another one. hope this isn’t something going around. LOL
    sherry @ fundinmental

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yeah, the computer gremlins are on the prowl! Your office computer lasted a long time. I hope you find another that does that too. I know you use it for many different things. I was thrilled that Sue sent me all of the books and can’t wait to start them!

  18. Tanya Atkinson says:

I can relate on the computer issues since I just had to buy a new one a week or so ago. Always fun (or not). I hope you get your computer back full-time soon. 🙂

  19. I hate it when computers die! I’m glad you saw it coming though and took action. 🙂

  20. Computer hogging is my specialty 😂 I hope this new one works better and lasts more!
    Genesis @ Whispering Chapters

    • fuonlyknew says:

LOL It could be mine too! He;s enjoying mine and I ordered him the newest version so I expect he will already be familiar with it when it arrives.

  21. BAhahaha your post is my post for last week! My daughter’s TWO computers died and she was using my old one from 2011. Anyway, her new one arrived Friday. I’m catching up and while I’ll still be getting to some older posts. I hope to be current as I go along this week. Finally.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I had to replace mine last year and now my son’s. Knew it was coming and I try to always have money set aside for it. He’s really liking his new one!
