Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page.
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Tease

Alyssa knew in that moment she had a choice to make.

Go with the flow and accept her fate or fight them to the death.

She chose the latter.

I was so happy to see that Taylor had just released this book trailer for Sierra.

Check it out!

Awesome teaser! I think I’d like this Alyssa girl. =)

  2. Taylor Dean says:

Thanks for including Sierra on your Teaser Tuesday post! I hope you are enjoying Sierra! I love that you’ve labeled it as a thriller. While it is a thriller for the first half–it’s really more of a romance novel! (I hope that doesn’t disappoint you!) Although many people who begin to read it say to me, “I don’t see how this is a romance novel!” And I tell them, “Just wait for it.” I guess I just don’t write ‘traditional’ romance. I like plot twists–I like that extra something that keeps you reading. Best kept secret in the world: I really write romance. I think the other plot elements help me to branch out to a wider audience–and I wasn’t expecting that, but I LOVE it! At any rate, I am so thrilled that you enjoy my books! Thank you, Laura! THANK YOU!

      Loving it!
I labeled it a thriller because of the beginning and the feeling that whispers through the story. You don’t forget what happened. Into the romance now:)
I do notice that your books are mentioned as other genres but definitely they have the sweetness of romance!
THANK YOU for the many hours of exciting reading!
