The holidays are over. It seems like we wait forever for them to get here, and then they are gone in a flash.

I’m spending this weekend taking down the decorations, organizing and putting them away and doing a cleaning before I put my regular stuff back out.

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and safe and happy New Years.

And I’ve set a slightly higher goal for 2015 with 130 books.

Not much happened this week. Work was crazy and I was so tired when I got home that all I wanted to do was watch my favorite shows, catch a few horror movies, and read. All hard to do when I had to fight to keep from falling asleep.

I have a very physical job. I detail the interiors of vehicles and it’s not easy. A lot of the equipment is bulky, there’s lots of scrubbing and lifting and carrying, but it does keep me in shape. Though, it wears me out when I have a long day.

The good part about it is, when I’m done I can leave so going in early and getting it done lets me get home with daylight to enjoy. But that won’t be for long as daylight savings time approaches.

How do you feel about the time change? Should they continue doing it? It doesn’t seem like we really need it anymore.

Wow, did this week fly by or what?! Seems like I just did one of these posts.

Not a whole lot happened this week. I read some more books, got some new ones, and watched a lot of scary movies and shows.

What did you guys think of The Walking Dead? Did you cry when Rick saw Judith? I did! This is going to be such a killer season.

The weather is awesome. In the low 80s and drops to mid 60s at night. Perfect for me. I don’t miss those hot, humid nights. Still warm enough for swimming and I’ve spent a lot of time outside, reading and just enjoying the pool. Got to get my time in before it turns too cool.

Got some great news. My oldest brother, who lives in Michigan, is renting a motorhome and coming down in November for a spell. My mom is coming with him! Going to have some fun then.

Well, my life hasn’t been exactly exciting lately, so not much more to talk about.

Except that something is wiggy with my computer. Have to take it to my guru so he can get rid of those pesky gremlins. They are causing so much havoc.

I apologize if I don’t stop by for your Sunday Posts. I don’t how much longer I can use this thing before it locks up.

It’s been a busy week of work and reading. You’ll be seeing a lot more horror books as October begins and my Halloween posts start. I’ll be featuring reviews, trailers, guest posts, interviews, giveaways, and cover reveals all through October and, you guessed it, they will be scary good!

I’ve been searching high and low and going through my reading lists to find some good ones and have so much to share.

With the approach of Halloween my heart starts racing. I love horror first and foremost, whether in books or movies. I’ve done so since I was young. I used to sneak out of my room at night and peek to watch the movies my parents thought I was too young for. They were probably right.

I’m looking forward to all of the horror films I’ll be watching, old favorites and new ones. Sometimes I scare myself!
