My Review

I was enchanted by this book.

The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous. So much detail and vibrant colors with lots to see.

And this is a rhyming book.  So smooth and fun to read, I almost sang it the second time around.

Don’t Drink The Pink is a magical story. From age one to fourteen, on Madeline’s birthday, her beloved grandfather lets her choose a potion, always warning her not to drink the pink. Each potion has a magical element, giving her abilities like invisibility and flying. On her fifteenth birthday we finally learn why her grandfather wanted her to wait to drink the pink.

As soon as I finished this I read it again. And I’ve read it several times since. I’ve also read a couple of other books by the author including The Day That A Ran Away and Don’t Ever Look Behind Door 32. I loved Don’t Drink The Pink just as much and can only imagine the delight on children’s faces once they’ve experienced this story too.

Some chit chat.

It’s been the same old, same old this week. All work and no play. But….. next week I get three days off in a row from both jobs! Know what I’m a gonna do? Nothing I don’t wanna. LOL Going to eat, have some cocktails, read, nap, watch the telly and take a nap or two!

I caved and hired someone to come this week and clean up my yard. It got away from me and would have taken forever. It’s going to be so neat and pretty. I think I’ll watch them work while floating in the pool. Or is that mean? LOL

Although gone these many years, his grandchildren and Lawrence, his
only surviving son, still suffer from his cruelty and heavy hand.
It’s Sydney who must untangle the web that begins with racism and
murder. Ben Bartlett her lover, still living in California, is
helpless to save her from natural disasters and festering family

Capeheart O’Kelley, the man who shot Bob Ford, Jesse James’s
killer. What does the murder in the late 1800s have to do with
Patrick O’Kelley’s death in the 21st century?
 
 
Cary Osborne has been writing for more than two decades, delving into
many genres including science fiction, fantasy, mystery, horror, and
romance. Having once been told that there aren’t enough generalists
in the world, and having an interest in many worldly aspects, makes
it difficult to settle into a single mold. Ancient history, being one
of those interests, she uses her studies in the subjects and
backgrounds for her stories, both long and short.
