A searing scream came off the trees and rocks. The rest of the lake shot up – reversed rain. Gusts of wind. Flashes of red. Exploding pods. Trees tossed as if toys.

A black shape up the street caught his eye. The falling snow made it hard to see past the end of the driveway, but that black mass hadn’t been there before, he was sure of that. My Tease

Something was fundamentally wrong with the official story of Rebecca’s rape. But what? And that’s when I knew, I simply had to get to the bottom of this cold case. I had to uncover the truth!
